As per the official notification, today, 11 January 2026, is the last date to submit online applications for a total of 764 vacancies across Senior Technical Assistant-B and Technician-A posts.

Technician-A – 203 Posts
Technician-A vacancies are trade-specific and reserved for ITI-qualified candidates. Trades include COPA, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, Turner, and several others as specified in the notification.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet both age and educational requirements as prescribed by DRDO.
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years as on the cut-off date
- Upper age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen
- STA-B: Diploma or B.Sc in relevant discipline
- Technician-A: 10th pass with ITI certificate in notified trade
Pay Scale and Allowances
Selected candidates will be placed under the 7th Central Pay Commission structure.
- STA-B: Level-6, ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
- Technician-A: Level-2, ₹19,900 to ₹63,200
